Deux versions du clip ont été tournées. La conceptrice du clip, l’actrice et amie de longue date de Shakur, Jada Pinkett Smith, s’est inspirée du film Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome de 1985 pour le concept. Elle devait initialement réaliser la vidéo, mais elle s’est retirée du projet et a été remplacée par Hype Williams. Le tournage a eu lieu du 10 au 13 novembre 1995 à El Mirage, en Californie. L’histoire se déroule dans un désert en l’an 2095. Le casting comprend l’acteur Clifton Powell dans le rôle d’un chef tribal maléfique, Chris Tucker (alors connu pour son rôle dans le film Friday de 1995), Tony Cox en soldat nain et Roger Troutman (anciennement du groupe Zapp) portant un talk-box. La vidéo se termine sur un cliffhanger avec la mention "À suivre". Une version alternative, basée sur le remix de la chanson, supprime cette mention et montre 2Pac et Dr. Dre citant des villes de la côte ouest.
Le deuxième clip, basé sur la version remixée de la chanson tirée de l’album All Eyez on Me, poursuit l’histoire du premier. Le scénario révèle que les scènes du désert étaient en réalité un cauchemar de 2Pac. À son réveil, il se retrouve dans son lit aux côtés d’une jeune femme. Il appelle Dr. Dre sur un téléphone sans fil, qui lui dit de venir à sa maison d’été pour une fête. Le reste du clip est filmé comme une vidéo maison célébrant l’arrivée de 2Pac chez Death Row et comprend plusieurs caméos, notamment Roger Troutman au piano, ainsi que des apparitions de DJ Quik, Big Syke, Deion Sanders, Danny Boy, Nadia Cassini, Jodeci, B-Legit et E-40. Ce deuxième clip a été tourné à Compton, en Californie.
Le premier clip est disponible sur le DualDisc de All Eyez on Me, et le deuxième sur le DVD Tupac: Live at the House of Blues. Le clip a remporté le MOBO Award 1996 du meilleur vidéo. Il a été publié en décembre 1995.
